Brewklyn welcomes Wine Lovers.

One Brewpub in Kalyan Nagar is making waves since its inception in the brew city of Bangalore. Brewklyn, inspired by the vibrant culture and diversity of Brooklyn of New York, its USP of serving great brews and good food has been talk of the area.

The vibrant ambience of Brewklyn , set over two floors , with variety of seating options, from bar stools to couple seating , high tables to booth and large group seating, with an option of semi- al fresco and private dining with rustic cemented floors and old school exposed brick walls laden with old world posters accompanied by the music will transport you into evocative, old fashioned vibes in the modern times. With Dr. S Cariapa on board, this place looks very promising indeed.

The food here , I feel ,is provocatively global pub style, but with inclusion of lot of regional dishes keeping in mind the local populace.My favourite was their array of wood fire pizzas , served fresh with wine , the drink of my choice that day.

” Our primary motive with Brewklin was to capture a quintessential and honest sentiment of the city itself through design and over all impression.” stated one of their founder ,Neeraj Chandrashekhar , who happened to be there while we were dining.

We were recently here for a wine paired lunch at a beautifully laid table. The cheese and meats platter paired red wine from Grover , was served to us , followed by some vegetarian starters like spicy fried american corn, Dragon chilli paneer and Tandoor cooked mushrooms. For the non vegetarians, Butter garlic prawns, achari fish tikka and tandoori prawns were served. Since they have wood fire pizza oven , we could not resist asking for the half and half pizzas for both vegetarians and meat lovers.

The staff here is very friendly and loves to suggest dishes. The mains that enticed me most here was their Dhaba Style Gosht we had with the vegetable Biryani. Finally we ended up with cheese cake and Brownie with ice cream.
