Bengaluru Baking Co. at JW Marriot
Few weeks back, I had an opportunity to visit JW Marriot ‘s very own deli patisserie, Bengaluru Baking Company (BBC).
The occasion was to participate in the Baking Classes by Chef Daniel Koshy, who has been involved in the setting up of the BBC on July 2013.
He has been conducting Baking Classes for guests where he showcase and reveal the mysteries of his signature specialities at the BBC.
I was also told that he also offers amateur bakers a chance to be a Pastry Chef for the Day with a innovative and personalised baking experience.
With food in my mind ,I shall now discuss the dishes in the limelight one by one.
First on the list was the Choco Lava cake, so synonymous with the melted chocolate oozing out of a hot and yummy cake.
For those who love vegetarian, there was the spicy and delicious Mexican inspired Taco salad with all the goodness of veggies combined together.
Then, there was the hot incendiary Caribbean jerk chicken blended with ingredients like chilies, thyme, cinnamon, garlic and nutmeg cozied between the tomato focaccia ready to tantalize your taste buds.
Lastly there was a cool and crunchy Caprese sandwich constituted with fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes and aromatic basil making a delicious veggie treat.
We were also served the choicest of beverages from the menu.
The ambiance is indicative of the brand JW marriot and is set against the milieu of large glass windows coupled with the white marble interiors that makes it spacious and lively.
There is also an option of outdoor seating for those who love to be close to nature and breeze.
On the upper level,It also boasts of well stocked library that has extensive collection of coffee table books on most of the subjects of interest.
With wi-fi and plug in facility available, this is also an ideal place for quick meetings and discussions.
The menu at BBC gives you extravagant spread of freshly crafted finger food and beverages.
