Last month, I went to “Gung The Place” at Sector 29 , Gurgaon.
This Korean food hub – Gung has been winning foodie hearts since years. Its sophisticated Korean style interiors and comfortable floor seating delighted me.
This authentic award-winning diner serves up a great Korean experience.

Though I was vegetarian today, it did not deter me from trying this place.

As a welcome gesture, they served us Korean green tea and array of salads including the famous Kimchi.

We then ordered Pajeon , Korean Vegetables Pancake – An excellent vegetarian starter.
It is a variety of jeon with green onions as its prominent ingredient, as pa literally means ‘green/spring onion’ in Korean.

The main course was Bibimbap that is a signature Korean dish. The word plainly means “mixed rice”. Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul and gochujang, soy sauce, or doenjang, a salty soybean paste.

Truly Korean experience.I will be back again for its non vegetarian fare.
