Republic Of Noodles – Pan Asian Cuisine

The Republic of Noodles (RON) has become one of my most preferred Pan Asian cuisine destination in Bangalore.
As a part of the Lemon Tree Premier that is situated near the picturesque Ulsoor Lake and very close to the heart of the city, it offers its guests some of the choicest authentic pick from Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia and the neighbouring Myanmar.
During my tête-à-tête with Himanshu Sachdev, Resident Manager ,I was told that the RON has always managed to stay really close to each cuisine’s individual authentic tastes.
The restaurant ambiance is very electric yet soothing with lavish usage of the colour red that is so symbolic to the southeastern culture. The statutes and artefacts add further charm to the entire place.
Surajit Ghara , the Executive chef was personally there to look after the needs of the RON guests. It was awesome culinary experience for me and my fellow foodies. One could easily savour the freshness of ingredients in the dishes served to us.
Some of the dishes we relished were as follows:
– Banana Leaf wrapped Grilled Chicken
– Crispy Water Chestnuts with Bamboo shoots
– Char Grilled Lamb
– Pot Roasted Spare Ribs
– Tom Kha Gai Soup
– Aromatic Clear Vegetable Soup
– Shredded chicken- Thai Fried Rice
– Yellow Curry Fish
– Yummy Chestnut dessert and exotic flavoured ice creams
We also had some refreshing mocktails and cocktails along with the dinner.
