The secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.  Mark Twain

THE TERMINUS at Crowne Plaza is unarguably the South Bangalore’s best destination to meet and unwind with friends , business colleague and loved ones over food , conversations and drinks.

CPT052 1Situated on second floor , with a great view , this latest pub lounge boasts of signature beverages and sumptuous food at great value for all. For many of us , lazying around on the couch in front of the TV with a favourite brand of cold beer or drink is a nice way to watch the game , but nothing beats the excitement and energy enjoying with other sports fanatics , with exciting menu to much upon. The place is a must visit for the sports lovers , as this place will also enthral all with thrills and spills of the major sporting events.

Galauti dragon roll (above)

Galauti dragon roll is a very innovative dish idea by the chefs here. The goodness and flavours  of Lucknowi Galuati has been wrapped and rolled in maida wrappers, and deep-fried till perfectly crisp. The Calamari Kurkure , were the chef’s take on Italian squid , batter fried in southern spices and served with curry leaves infused dip.

Vada Bao , we had , seems to be like a perfect marriage of two cuisine , that even hard core vada pav fans would relish. My full marks to this dish. Malabari Quesadilla , the mexican roll with malabari style cooked chicken stuffing, certainly delighted most of us.

The joy of eating a good juicy burger is imminently visible here with my friend Deepa , who has blog called The Crumb Stash, as she grabs this mega burger. Known as XXL Burger, we all absolutely loved sharing with each other, as no one could eat the whole. The chef told us that the mega burger bun has been prepared at their in-house bakery exclusively for this dish.CPT056

Those who are fond of paneer or are vegetarian , would love their BBQ Cheese Steak , prepared with the Indian Cottage cheese ,sourced from the Indian capital. Being a north Indian , quality of paneer matters a lot to me and the ingredient here reminded me of the taste back home.

CPT035

Kheema Ghotala toast , inspired from the mumbai ‘s parsi breakfast,  where delicious Parsi breakfast, with Keema , usually leftover from previous dinner, served on bruschetta, on a miniature Indian cart ,called “Thela”. It is often said that cooked meat gets tastier with time and the Kheema here , justifies that saying very well.

Chip & Dip , on the menu has three variants on offer, the potato wedges , the sweet potato and the tapioca ones, served with a chilly mayonnaise dip. The Vegetarian variant of usually prawn Hargow , the dumplings with the translucent wrappers served at Chinese dim sum, were full of flavours and we ended up ordering more.

Desserts

The Drunken Volcano , dollop of ice cream on the sizzling molten choco brownie, an absolute treat for choco lovers and the two variants of Kulfis , reminding me of the childhood ,when we used to be just crazy for kulfi wala visiting us during summers.
