Restaurant :Never Mind , it’s awesome food at Indiranagar , Bangalore | India

Call it a bar or an artisanal kitchen or both , Nevermind is a culinary marvel in the heart of the city , an escape from mundane food & drinks to the social Xanadu in Indirananagar.

Dream project of few friends , Rohit Barker, Shylesh Jain & Rice’s Obliquity team , Nevermind is a place for vibrant socials , with a tropical feel and lively ambience, with cosy corners where intimate conversations are possible , family dinners while retaining the essence of Bangalore.

Once you enter this brilliantly designed 3000 sq feet of single floor , it will simply awe you with its magnificent interiors , with the ceiling clad with mirrors to provides that endless feel , circular elements that break the monotony of space creating nooks with a unique character.

From the island bar in the center, to the igloo-styled pods for small groups, to the floral-patterned, glass encased six-seater booths to the pillars lined with metal trellis to bring in the feel of trees, Nevermind has an ambience that is an absolute conversation starter.

Apart from the Modern Indian & world cuisine , the menu is also inspired from the asian kitchens. We started with the two kinds of Dim-sums , the Mixed Vegetable Chow Chow and the chicken Dumplings from their oriental offerings , along with the Thai Coconut crumb Prawns and Hed Phad  Medmamauang – Mushrom Stir fry. 

We also ordered , Multani Paneer Tikka and Bhuna Murg Tikka , the two delectable tandoors from their Indian tandoor section and Crispy Bacon wrapped prawns in honey garlic sauce for the pork lovers.

The Bar here , is literally center of attraction , serving not be missed Nevermind Essentials. Sangria lovers will absolute go bonkers with Cane Sangria that unites White wine, pineapple sour, ginger, lime and sugarcane juice. Name inspired by the Netflix series by same name, The Good Wife , with Coconut cream, white rum, an infusion of curry leaf, coconut water and sugar syrup is bound to please many too.Another must try is the Dreamer of Dreams with coconut syrup, cherry and bitters a shot. 

And if you like some drama with your drinks, the Smokin Cocktails is what you should aim for.

Another must -haves are their Baos, we tried few too,like the Korean Beef Bao , Gua Bao with Mushroom and the Chicken Bao

Truly impressed by the appetisers, we decided to order few mains from their global menu, Randang Duck Curry , the adaption of Indonesian spicy red meat dish , originally by the ethnic group of Minangkabau people, the Indian Coastal Prawn Curry , the soulful Thai Red Curry from southern Thailand and the Edamame Garlic Rice and Salmon with Udon Noodles
Next time , we are going to try from the Modern Indian Menu, the Chicken Makhni Bao – the classic tandoori chicken, served in a bao with a side salad. 

The Smokin Tea Timewith Kahlua, Tea infused white rum and some sugar syrup is a brilliant concoction. The Smokin Pink Downfall with vodka, tender coconut water, lime and cranberry juice, a touch of thyme and sugar syrup is a good one. And then you have theSmokin Violets – Gin, Triple Sec and Sambuca that come together in this one. For the G&T lovers, the Booze and Tonic section is just what you should be checking out. Think Rose & Cucumber, Ginger & Pineapple and Cucumber & Carrot.

Tip : If you are for drinks , do try their All Day Bites menu

 They also work well whether you are a large group looking to try out a number of dishes or a small one looking for a bite and drink.
