The makers of the iconic premium blended whisky brand, Peter Scot, House of Khoday have finally forayed into the single malt segment with the launch of their Peter Scot Black Single Malt.
It’s entry into the super premium beverage alcohol market in India is a good news for all the single malt lovers as these are currently available in Goa, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Daman, and Silvassa. By 2020 , the brand will be introduced to 16 states across India.
The Immediate Plans
With aim sell 10,000 cases of Peter Scot Black Single Malt by the end of its first full year of launch and capture 10% share of the single malts segment by 2020 , Khoday is targeting States with high volume throughout and a sizeable premium spirits consuming population. The brand roll out to states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Delhi NCR and Kolkata in West Bengal is likely to happen in the next few months.
Internationally , the company wanted to register its single malt presence as Khoday’s Black and they plan to market it to USA, Canada, UK, Italy and Singapore.

It was dream of Khoday’s late Vice-Chairman, L. Srihari Khoday to have Peter Scot single malt that Swamy Khoday took up this challenge and fulfilled it.
Produced at Khoday’s distillery located in Bangalore , Peter Scot Black is available in 60 ML and 750 ML packs.

This batch is Khoday’s maiden release of Peter Scot Black Single Malt, that has Amber Gold appearance, and the nose has notes of Orange Peel, Nuts- Toasted Almonds, ending towards peaty and smokiness with hints of spices.
Coming to the palate is Rich Mouth feel and really smooth , complex , oakwood ends with a lingering taste.
