Get Nostalgic this monsoon with Tata Cha Menu
Ever since my childhood, Monsoon has always bought a sense of joy and respite after the scorching hot summer in my state of Rajasthan. The joy of watching rain, the occasional urge of getting drenched while mom isn’t watching, and yes sipping hot glass of tea with variety of fritters, kachoris and others.
The new Monsoon menu at Tata Cha invokes same nostalgia through its newly introduced select dishes from all across India.
Straight from the twin states of Bihar & Jharkhand, they have Litti Chokha, the comfort food for most from the region and beyond.
Next is the only non vegetarian dish in the monsoon menu, Keema Pav hailing from Amachi Mumbai. Daily food for many ,mostly available in Irani and other cafes, it is spicy chicken mince dish served with Pav breads and is a complete meal in itself.
Both the litti and Pav served in the monsoon menu have been made with wheat, making it a healthier to have. The third one is from the Tamil Nadu , a healthy low fat Chickpea Sundal , that is also often offered to the gods, is a perfect snack.
Ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 170 , these dishes are moderately priced and are at par with other dishes in the Tata Cha menu.
