Looking for Neapolitan-style Pizza in Bangalore ?

BO001

The Pizza that originated in Naples, Italy is now “Baked in Bangalore”.

Prepared with simple & fresh ingredients like a basic dough, raw tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and olive oil with no fancy toppings allowed.

Do you know that Neapolitan pizza, or pizza Napoletana, are so good that UNESCO has awarded world heritage status to the Naples art of pizza-making.

I have found the best place to have my pizza Napoletana in Bangalore after many years of my pizza soul searching in the city.

And Hands down , Brik Oven is the best.

The pizzas here are so good that I’m sure, even the natives of Naples would be proud of it.Handmade to perfection ( or near perfection ) , these are indeed made for sou , with base is neither thin and crispy or nor fat like the american ones we get here in the city. Instead they are light and crunchy crust that’s thin in the middle, thick and charred marking around the edges, just like a traditional Naples pizza baked in a rustic wood fired oven, giving it a pleasant smokey flavour.

I had the Quattro Formaggi , the delicious 4 cheese pizza , with Mozzarella , Parmesan , Provolone and Blue Cheese , completing the quartet along with the herbs and plain sauce made with organic San Marzano tomatoes, oil on a canvas, and oregano and garlic as flourishes.

Other one I had was the Pepperoni , with mozzarella , Pepperoni , tomato sauce and parmesan. Indeed a great one too, loaded with awesomeness of tasty, crunchy and smoky flavours.
