Another proud moment for Team Aloft , Bangalore. The Master Bartender,Naveen from their signature bar , WXYZ has been shortlisted to represent them at the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition (BLCC) 2017.

About BLCC:

Launched in 2008, this is the 9th edition of the contest. It has been now established as one of the acclaimed cocktail competitions of the world. It is thus a global quest to find a cocktail that can become a true BACARDÍ classic and can match with famous cocktails, such as the Daiquiri or Mojito.

Naveen’s inspiration behind the drink

Naveen is the master bartender at WXYZ lounge bar and now proud finalist of the BLCC 2017 India round to be held later this year. This is what he told, when asked what inspired this drink.

“This Cocktail has been very interesting to me, as to how simple it can be, yet a lot to explain about. The invigorating mix of basil and orange, white wine with Bacardi Carta Blanca, leaves me feeling strong, healthy, full of energy.” – Naveen Singh

Just like the way Bacardi Family has started with most simplest of all ; Rum, which was considered a sub quality drink during the early 1800s, going through a lot of storms of Independence struggles, exiles , Disasters and accidents, making them more stronger with full of energy and harvesting the most Celebrated rum across the globe.
