Thriving on very unique and pioneering idea ,conceptualised on the lines of our stock exchanges , The Bar Stock Exchange (TBSE) customers trade in food & booze, with prices starting from as low as MRP prices. It is thus an interactive “happy hours” concept where drink prices “increase & decrease” depending on Customer Demand.

I was here recently with some friends and this is how we ordered my drinks. But before we proceed any further lets understand what is The Bar Stock Exchange and how best you can use it ?

For every liquor in their stock , the bar sets a base price which can be either equal or less than MRP. So when ever a guest orders a drink ,say at a X price , there will be surge in the price by a small percentage. So more the demand , more expensive the drink becomes, till it reaches the capped maximum price.

Think of it as a best deal where you control the prices of all the drinks!

The Military Base Theme

TBSE at Bangalore has been conceptualised on the military base theme, the first for them and you will find the rugged and rustic high roof ambience very appealing while you are here.Even their seating has been greatly influenced with that theme ,with some of the couches and seating spaces have uniform look alike covers. Another strikingly noticeable feature of this place is the thousands of red origami birds hanging from the ceiling and that are visible from outside too. One will also find Lot of Graphiti with captions ” Karma ” , ” Alive or Just Breathing ” etc on the walls of TBSE.

Food at TBSE

The menu for Bangalore has been curated by Chef Gaurrav Gidwani who has specially flown down to the city from Mumbai.It has an interesting to see such a lavish menu for the place that is know for serving liquor and cocktails. We tried lot of dishes from the starters , mains and desserts.
