The wait is finally over for the foodies and Burger lovers as ‘Taste is King” slogan is finally going to hit the southern part India this weekend as #TheKingIsComing with the opening of the first Burger King (BK) at upmarket Phoenix City Mall at Whitefield, Benagluru.
This renowned Burger chain from USA was launched in India on November 9th ,2015 at Delhi and was later followed by Mumbai & Chandigarh.Now the BK whopper craze is all set to rule Bengaluru with 6 outlets around the city in the next few months ,the Chief Marketing Officer, Ms. Uma Talreja told me during the tasting preview few days back.
Even while designing the India menu, they have kept their USP of Flame grilling known worldwide for India too as there is no competitor that flame grills its patties. It has a touch of India and will be led by its flagship Whopper (pronounced ‘Wau-per’) Burger and has seven non-vegetarian burgers in mutton and chicken variants along with six vegetarian burgers especially for Indian market. There will be some dissappointment for beef lovers as the Whopper won’t have a beef patty. But I am sure that flame grilled chicken and mutton burgers will enthrall the majority of Indian palate.
I was thrilled to savor their signature Whopper (pronounced ‘Wau-per’) in mutton and chicken patty variants. The mutton whopper was juiciest I have tasted in India. First time vegetarian whopper has also been introduced using delectable Paneer and cheese combination patty.
The Flame grilling technique remains its prime differentiators along with its range of Fries and Cravers products. They are also contemplating on the introduction of the breakfast menu.
The cheesy Chicken fries prepared with best of mince and masalas were too good to resist for me. This is surely going to be part of every order ,I will place during visits here.
Among the chillers and frozen desserts, my favorites were the 180 degree in both Oreo and gems flavors followed by their sundaes. The Pink lemon is must try as it gives refreshes your taste buds with pleasant hints of Indian masala.
The BK range starts as INR 35 and goes upto INR 269 for a double patty mutton whopper. Certainly they offer you best products at great prices keeping in mind the price sensitive Indian consumers without compromising on their offerings.
