Restaurant Review : Return of Tiger Trail – Ramada , Bangalore | India
“
Tiger is a large-hearted gentleman with boundless courage and that when he is exterminated—as exterminated he will be unless public opinion rallies to his support – India will be the poorer, having lost the finest of her fauna.
― Jim Corbett, Man-eaters of Kumaon
The History behind Tiger Trail Restaurant
It is a tribute to the hunters in British India who went on various trails in pursuit of tiger across the Indian subcontinent, popularly known as “Tiger Trail”.
The various cuisines from the regions they trailed the tiger ,are now part of the inspiring culinary journey at the Tiger Trail restaurant. I was told that the dishes here are mostly traditional with a modern influence.

The ambience has visible influence of Jungle theme, with lot of wooden look & feel. The food here is inspired by the various jungle trails recipes from Ranthambore in the west to Bandipur in the south, Corbett in the north to Royal Bengal in the east and has been given a modern twist and presentation. There are some hits and misses but overall it has been a good culinary experience. Apart from the ala carte , they also have vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis with regional delicacies from Karnataka , Bengal and Rajasthan. The bar at Tiger Trail serves various Indian and Imported liquor brands.
