Many Bangaloreans like me prefer to rewind themselves , travelling to places away from the hustle and bustle of the city during the weekends. While some travel solo other go out with family and friends to these weekend sojourn.

Among these is the Signature Club Resort, a serene weekend destination at Devanhalli. Located in a 130-acre smart township at Brigade Orchards , it has 45 well appointed luxurious executive rooms and suites.

I was recently invited to experience the stay at the beautiful and serene Signature Club Resort during the weekend.

Getting to Signature Club Resort.

Situated 4 kms away from the 16th-century Devanahalli Fort on the outskirts of the city of Bangalore, the resort is 50 kms away from the city.For those who are travelling from airport , it is just 16 kms away. Grover Zampa Vineyards is nearby .Thus making it as one of the most preferred weekend destinations for Bengaloreans.

The Resort

We reached the resort after passing through the green Brigade Orchards and were welcomed at the reception by the energetic and enthusiastic staff. The check-in process was quick while I sipped my welcome drink. Thereafter, the Porter staff escorted me to my room. After a while , I headed to the restaurant for the lunch with other invitees.

My luxurious room at Signature Club Resort was tastefully done and well furnished with the best of amenities with mesmerising and scenic view of green Brigade Orchards and the sports arena from my room’s balcony.

The spacious room has mini bar , work desk, Wi-Fi connectivity with beds with international quality mattresses. A perfect place for all type of guests , be it leisure or business. For those who come in in groups or with families , they also have option interconnecting and twin bedded rooms for stay.

The Dining at Signature Club Resort.

For dining in the resort , they have three restaurants , namely the Tamarind , a multi-cuisine restaurant located on the first floor overlooking their sports arena and Silver Oak Lawns.

It serves buffet , brunches and some ala carte to its guests. The menu is primarily Indian with some continental offerings.

For those who love to dine at alfresco style cafe , they can head to Courtyard cafe that serves beverages , snacks and desserts all day. A perfect place to relax I felt while sipping my favourite coffee.

Then there is Pavilion Bar , the elegant looking lounge bar with select international and Indian beverages. Here one can relish array of liquors and cocktails to liqueurs and mocktails in a well appointed ambience and music.It also has open-air patio for the perfect evening , be it business or personal.

Activities to do while at Signature Club Resort.

There would never be dull moments at the resort as they have plethora of facilities and activity zones for all age groups. From cricket stadium to Six-lane indoor heated swimming pool ,Two Badminton Courts with Oak Wood Flooring and Squash Court with Maple Wood Flooring, Outdoor Tennis court , State of the art Gymnasium with Yoga Terrace , Indoor Table Tennis and Aerobics Room.

It is a visual treat for nature lovers with near endless stretch of greens , lot of mangroves , other species of trees , and wide variety of beautiful flowers. I had the pleasure of walking there in the morning and it was a great experience.
