Restaurant Review: Lantern at The Ritz Carlton, Bangalore | India

Read Time:3 Minute, 46 Second
“Designed to resemble its namesake, The LANTERN at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore combines an informal Chinese fine dining experience with cutting-edge night life.”

Situated on a level below the ground , it reminds me of enchanting yet forbidden kingdom or perhaps a secret place with a fantastic view. The Evocative Oriental interiors at the Lantern are quite interesting. Along with the Stylish lifestyle bar at the entrance that serves distinctive Asian spirits and mixed drinks , some of the wall sections in the restaurant, have been created with different materials like books , carpets and others, giving it a very uniquely attractive feel. The alfresco terrace seating here is surrounded by lot of greenery and water features. Hailed by many food connoisseurs for the menu that epitomises Chinese culinary traditions at Lantern with array of delightful Dim Sums, soups and other sumptuous  delicacies from the region.

The New Dim Sum Menu

Much to the delight of diners ,the weekday Dim sum menu has been revamped with lot of dimsums additions by their chefs while retaining favourites from the earlier one. Available every day of the week , the Dim sum lunches will be a 3 course affair with a choice of dimsums, main course and desserts, making it a great choice for those who are looking for healthy yet varied Asian mid day meal.I was here recently to try their new lunch menu with some of the foodies.
