ITC’s Sunbean Gourmet Coffee, Nicamalai & Panagiri is here

After the launch in Kolkata earlier this year, ITC Foods unveiled its gourmet coffee brand, Sunbean in the IT capital , Bangalore this month, at city’s luxurious business hotel destination, ITC Gardenia.
ITC ventured into the branded coffee space in July 2016 with the launch of Sunbean Gourmet Coffee. According to the Press release, “ITC has crafted these unique offerings by synergizing its key institutional strengths – superior agri-sourcing (ITC has over 25 years of experience in global coffee trading), culinary expertise of ITC Hotels’ baristas & master-chefs & a deep knowledge of blending.”
It took 8 years of extensive global research for the ITC coffee connoisseur to select some of the finest beans around the world, that were blended expertly by the master blenders with some of the India’s finest beans from coffee growing areas.The results were truly phenomenal in form of the two gourmet variants ,namely the Nicamalai and Panagiri, the truly world class coffee offerings from India.
Sunbean Nicamalai
The name inspired from the coffee regions of Nicargua and Anamalai hills, Nicamalai is a fruity sweet blend of coffee with a creamy expressions.
The Nicaraguan coffee are known for its mild, fruity brightness and lower-toned sensations while the Anamalai is abode to fine, high-grown Arabicas,including the exotic Kents.
Sunbean Panagiri
The blend of selected coffee varietals from mildly sweet Panama beans and intensely sweet flavored arbaicas frrom the hills of Baba Budangiri ensures that Sunbean Panagiri has intensely fragrant coffee flavors. It has a pleasant roasted nutty taste and a hint of chocolate.
“Baba Budangiri is popularly considered to be the birthplace of coffee in India where Baba Budan, a legendary holy saint, planted the first coffee seeds that he had brought from Yemen.”

You can savor these choicest gourmet coffees at the F&B outlets exclusively at ITC Sonar – Kolkata, ITC Gardenia and ITC Windsor in Bengaluru and ITC Grand Chola – Chennai, Sunbean Gourmet Coffee will soon be available across all ITC Luxury Hotels across India. One can even buy them there at INR 800 for 200 gm pack.
