Restaurant Review :Foxtrot Gastropub, Bangalore

My side of Bangalore has no dearth of pubs, breweries and bar Kitchen. But my favourite remains the Foxtrot Gastropub. Situated on Marathali Outer Ring Road , it is among the most vibrant and happening destination in the area.

As you enter the place their well illuminated “Las vegas style signboard” welcomes with a bright warm feeling ,especially during evenings.

With its rooftop pub seating with an option of limited al fresco and private party space , well served by their L-shaped glamorously long bar, it has lot to offer to its patrons.The weekends are even more special here ,with their In-house DJ and host of musicals during the week will keep you enthralled every time you are here.

During whole of July , they had special musical evenings from Wednesdays till Saturdays every week ,where host of guest artists like DJ Maverick , Huyana etc entertained the in-house guests.

Food & Drinks

Food is a huge plus here and can be compared with any good restaurant in the city. Here we tried lot of dishes from all the courses. We began with the array of starters like Chaupati Bhel Bahar , Soya Keema , Samosa , Basil pesto palak kebab and the Jerk spiced cottage cheese for the vegetarians.

The meat lovers like me also tried the Cajun sliced pork ribs , Curry leaf prawns and the Black pepper chicken tikka. The mains we ordered were from their Indian section , the Dal makhni & Malai Kofta from the north while the Fish moilee & Mutton Pepper fry from southern India.Our desserts included the Crispy Waffle and the Mango basil bhapa doi

Being a gastropub , the Cocktails & Drinks matched my expectations. We had Man-lli Mug-a-rita , Forest Fog , What a Match(a) , Urban Decay and the LIIT. And then we winded up with the assorted shots in the end.
