Read Time:1 Minute, 56 Second

The Cafe culture in Bengaluru is gradually gaining pace and one could find lot of nice and elegant cafes all over the city ,where one could meet over the cup of coffee and food for a date , discuss business and strike a deal , or enjoy the togetherness with the loved ones, simply pass time or just work to meet deadlines.

On the first Sunday of the year, some of food evangelists decided to meet for breakfast at Koramangla , the food hub of the city, to celebrate the advent of the new year.

D’Hide cafe

Located next to the Tim Tai, pan-asian restaurant , D’Hide is a quaint cafe , with subtle contemporary interiors, moulin rouge style french paintings and assortment of artefacts sitting on the multiple shelf, near the entrance. This brightly lit narrow European influenced cafe has array of minimal-styled furniture , making it a pleasant and beautiful place to be.

Food Menu

As an all day dining cafe , the food menu is quite elaborate for a cafe, as it serves egg dishes like Omelette & Frittatas , sliders & sandwiches made from continental , Mediterranean and Indian recipes.

From the Lebanese recipes, the Falafel (above) and Hummus Trio (below)

One can also have variety of small vegetarian and non-vegetarian eats , healthy salads , regular & wheat pizzas & creamy and aglio olio pastas and delicious mains and sinful desserts.

The Feta Melon salad (above) and Bruschetta Platter (below)

As I had mentioned that there is lot to try from the menu and we as a group made full use of this opportunity and tried lot of dishes. Most of them were quite good , though I felt that there was scope of improvement in some and their presentation could have been better.

Grilled Panini Sicilian (below) and English Fried Fish sandwiches (above)

We also tried some of their delectable desserts. Their special cheese cakes and Baked cheese cakes were liked by my friends. If you’re having coffee here , their blueberry muffins would be worthy accompaniment.

Apart from our coffee order , we asked them for some fresh juices to compliment our morning meal.
