Popular south Indian restaurant , Carnatic is now open for weekend Breakfast too.
“
Carnatic is an beautiful expression of culinary richness in the southern states. A gourmet tale with tradition , a place to experience some of the best recipes from the states of Karnataka , Tamilnadu , Kerala , Andhra & Telengana.
”
The interiors gives a nice , rich feel of culture and traditions of the Carnatic , a region of South India between the Eastern Ghats and the Coromandel Coast, in the modern Indian states of Tamil Nadu, south eastern Karnataka, north eastern Kerala and southern Andhra Pradesh. The beautiful southern style paintings, decorative temple lamps , rich and luxuriously wooden furniture , along with the copper dinnerware adds to the entire charm of this place.
As I browse their menu , I could see that there are sections in the menu dedicated to various cuisines , starting with some of the specialities from Karnataka , like the Mandya Style Kaal Soup , Stuffed Bendekai , Kuri Kaal Roast , followed by the authentic fare from neighbouring Tamil Nadu , the Kothukari Paniyaram with keema , Chettinadu Masala fry , Mutton / Chicken Kurma.
