Brewery Review : La Casa Brewery & Kitchen, Bangalore | India
“Give a man a beer, waste an hour.
Teach a man to brew, and waste a lifetime!”
~ BILL OWEN ~
The latest addition to Sarjapur, the undisputed Brew district of Bangalore ,is the La Casa Brewery & Kitchen on the Kasvanhalli road. A Picturesque brewery that is spread over two levels on the first floor, with a magnificent view of the microbrewery, near the entrance.
SO WHAT’S BREWING AT LA CASA !!
With Brewery in place , La Casa is here with its own brewed collection of beers. Whether it is phenolic Villa Weissbier, with flavours of clove and banana with certain level of spiciness or smokiness or the Dark Castle Stout, dark beer made using roasted malt or roasted barley, hops, water and yeast or their Heidelberg Pilsner lager beer offering that is brewed with special yeast , Garden Mist , or perhaps the lightly Hopped tea-like flavoured and sweet Red Wood , or even hoppy Indian pale ale , the Bangalore Hurricane , there with never be a dull moment for the beer lovers here.
The food offerings are quite interestingly global , partially new and partially inspired from the old menu ,ranging from the finger foods and small bites like French fries, Tibetan momos , Italian crostini , Mexican nachos to our very own Paneer Tikka that goes well with the mug of fresh beer to the full range of dinner dishes from Indian , Italian and oriental kitchens.
The place is a welcome addition for the residents of Kasvanhalli and sarjapura. Located strategically , it is ideal for friends and family outings. The beer lovers would certainly enjoy their fresh brews with good food.
